Moscow - Golden Ring - Saint-Petersburg (9 days/8 nights)
Day 1
Arrival at Moscow airport.
Moscow City Tour/Night Moscow (depending on arrival time). During
the city tour you will see all the major sights including the Red
Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Novodevichiy
Convent, Poklonnaya and Vorobievy Mountains, Tverskaya Street,
Bulvarnoye Koltso (Boulevard Ring), and other attractions.
Transfer to the hotel. Check-in.
Free time.
Day 2
Breakfast in the hotel.
Meeting with your tour guide near reception desk. Travel to the center
of Moscow by metro or by car (if you choose).
Visiting Kremlin. During the Kremlin tour you will have an
opportunity to enjoy the historical monuments such as the Great
Kremlin Palace and Arsenal building, see the trophy weapons of
the war of 1812 and admire the cathedrals on the territory of the
Kremlin. You can visit one of the Kremlin cathedrals of your choice. In
addition, you will be offered a detailed acquaintance with the famous
Armory Museum. The collection of the Armory is overwhelming. It
contains such exhibits as the chalice of Yuri Dolgorukiy, the helmet and
armor of Boris Godunov, a collection of over fifty Faberge eggs, golden
and silver works of applied art by Russian, European and Oriental
masters, invaluable weapons and other works made of precious metals and
stones.
Free time for lunch.
Drive by Vintage Car. A fascinating tour through Moscow in a
vintage car! From the Kremlin to Novodevichy Convent followed by the
embankments of Moscow River and Zamoskvorechye. You will experience a
memorable tour and a day full of positive impressions.
Day 3
Breakfast in the hotel.
Check out. Depart for Suzdal. Suzdal is known as a city-museum
and the preservation of old architecture. From faraway distance Suzdal
looks like a big city. This illusion comes from the concentration of
monuments - in the space of 2 square kilometers there are nearly 70
monuments.

Lunch.
Visiting Spaso-Evfimiyev Monastery Museum Complex – the main and
the biggest monastery of the area. It was founded in the middle of the
XIV century. The monastery is surrounded by walls with twelve towers.
The complex was planned to be a fortress, that is why there are many
attached domestic buildings. All these buildings provide an experience
of the past. In the monastery there are frescoes by Gury Nikitin and
Sila Savin. In XVII century the artists painted these beautiful
frescoes. The Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery was one of the most famous men’s
monasteries in Russia. Now the Monastery is a Museum. It is open to the
public.
Five times a day you can listen to the ringing of chimes from the
monastery’s belfry.
Welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant. Folk group
performance.
Day 4
Breakfast in the hotel.
Walkiing tour of Suzdal. During your city tour you will have an
opportunity to view different exhibitions such as collections of old
icons, unique frescos from the time of Vladimir Monomach, objects of
decorative arts and crafts, fancywork, hand sewings, paintings and
caskets.
Visiting Suzdal's white-stoned Kremlin. Here you will experience
an atmosphere of a medieval prince's residence. Here you will also find
the unique building of the Nativity of the Theotokos Cathedral, built in
the 11th century.
Lunch.
Free time.
Dinner in the hotel restaurant.
Day 5
Breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to Plios. Plios is a historical Russian city and is also
often included on the list of Golden Ring Cities. It is closely
associated with the artist Isaak Levitan (a leading Russian painter of
late 19th century and a close friend of Chekhov). Levitan has several
paintings featuring scenes of the city's picturesque embankment along
the Volga. The landmarks of Plios include the House-Museum of
Levitan and seven beautiful churches built from late 17th century to
early 19th century. The smallest of them a 210 years old wooden church,
was immortalized by Levitan in his “Eternal Peace”. Plios is a popular
stop on Volga cruises. Tourists usually walk along the riverfront and
enjoy the lovely views from the hill topped by the simple Assumption
Cathedral, which stands within the ramparts of the old fort.
Lunch.
Boat ride along the Volga river.
Transfer to Suzdal.
Dinner - Russian Party with a humorous sport competition.
Day 6
Breakfast in the hotel.
Eco-tour to a milk farm and cattle farm. TAKE A CLOSER LOOK! We give you an
opportunity to know what are you eating and drinking. Russian farmers
are proud to show everyone how they farm & care for cows that
produce pure local & delicious milk. See first-hand how people are
working to save Russian farmland and sustain farming as a way of life.
Lunch. During the tour you will taste farm products.
Free time in Suzdal.
Dinner.
Transfer to Vladimir for night train to Saint-Petersburg.
Day 7
Arrival to Saint-Petersburg rail station. Breakfast in the train.
Meeting with a guide.
Saint Petersburg City Tour.
The tour will acquaint you with the main architectural and historical
monuments of Saint Petersburg. You will take a ride along its main
streets and prospects enjoying its splendid sights: numerous palaces and
cathedrals, rivers and channels, bridges and parks.
Transfer to the hotel.
Free time.
Day 8
Breakfast in the hotel.
Visiting the Hermitage and Winter Palace. One of the largest
museums in the world, the State Hermitage occupies six magnificent
buildings situated along the embankment of the Neva River.
In the course of the excursion you will be familiarized with
masterpieces by outstanding artists from Italy, Spain, Holland,
Flanders, France, England, Germany, and other Western European
countries. On display there are works by such great masters as Leonardo
da Vinci, Raphael, Giorgione, Titian, Michelangelo, Francisco de Goya,
Renoir, Picasso and many others. Admirers of the art of impressionists
and postimpressionists will definitely enjoy works by Degas, Renoir,
Pissarro, Van Gogh, Gauguin and other artists.
Free time for lunch.
Boat trip. Saint-Petersburg is often referred to as Venice of the
North. Like the Italian city, the Northern capital of Russia boasts
wondrous architecture, splendid museums and a vibrant lifestyle. The
guide will tell you the fluid history of St. Peterburg waterways– ever
changing and at the same time as constant as in primeval times.
Day 9
Breakfast in the hotel.
Check out.
Pushkin (Catherine Palace) or Peterhof (optional).
Departure transfer to the Saint-Petersburg airport “Pulkovo”.
