This little nice hotel in the center of Suzdal is very close to Suzdal Kremlin and Shopping Arcade (about 5-10 min walking). The hotel is decorated as a wooden country house in traditional Russian style. There is a private free parking, cafe, bathhouse, a liitle lake, place for BBQ and souvenir shop nearby. The rooms are big enough, clean, beds are comfortable, wifi-connection was perfect. During our stay breakfasts were included. You recieve home-made cheese, some meat, porridge, fried eggs, pancakes or Syrniki with home-made jam and etc... There's no chance to stay hungry after such meal. You can have half-board / full-board option or a-la carte menu.  By the way the food is very tasty!!! Also it seemed to us that tea and some snacks were available 24/7. The stuff is very friendly, willing to help and do all their best to make your stay as comfortable, as possible.

My husband and I stayed for one night at the Suzdal Inn. We took the morning train from Moscow to Vladimir, spent the day in Vladimir and Bogolyubovo, then caught a bus from Vladimir to Suzdal that evening. It was really cold (-7F), so when we got off the bus, even though it's only a 10 minute walk to the hotel, we were happy to see cabs waiting. We reached the hotel in about a minute and were welcomed upon check-in with homemade cordials. After freshening up in our room, we came back down to the restaurant, sat by the fire, and ordered a couple beers. Bliss! Dinner was reasonably priced and delicious, and our waitress was really nice and anxious to please. Our room was small, but immaculate and comfortable, with an adjoining small private bath with shower and hairdryer. In the morning, after a yummy breakfast of oatmeal, hot drinks, blinis, cold meats, cheese, and bread, we were ready to explore the town. The day was sunny, but really cold, so we asked the friendly woman at the desk if she could find us a driver. We wanted to get out sightseeing as quickly as possible, so opted for a Russian-speaking driver who was available immediately. For four hours, Alex drove us around to the Kremlin, several monasteries, and, lastly, to the bell tower, which was closed. No problem, Alex found the key, so we were able to climb it for a stunning view of the town and surrounding area. He had a few words of English and we had a Google Translate app, so we did well communicating. He was kind enough to stop here and there so I could photograph the beautiful, authentic wooden houses that are everywhere in Suzdal. Since our room wasn't needed for that night (benefit of off-season travel), we were allowed to stay in it as long as we wanted. We had a great early dinner (with some excellent vodka!), packed up, and then enjoyed the luxury of having Alex drive us back to the Vladimir station for our evening train to Moscow. We enjoyed our short time in Suzdal, but wished we had at least stayed two nights and had also arranged some personalized touring and the banya in advance. (Four hours notice is needed to prepare the banya and to cut the hole in the icy pond for you to dunk yourself.) I highly recommend a stay here; great value for a reasonable price, with an accommodating, helpful staff.

We are all in agreement that none of us want to leave. It was a lovely place-very relaxing and excellent food. Most off all we praise Marina and her fantastic staff who made us all fool so welcome. I look forward to coming back time and time again.
